No I’m not talking about M. Night Shayamalamadingdong’s new take at a Nickelodeon favorite, I’m talking about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2, the last installment of the HP franchise.

It’s been a long road for us HP geeks,14 years since J.K. wrote the first book at The Elephant House, 13 since my 3rd grade teacher Mrs Lopez read it to my class, and 9 years since the first movie hit projectors at local theaters. I remember getting in the car at 10 pm, picking up two pajama wearing friends(J.B./R.P.), and waiting in line to be the first to see the 3rd film in our town, and it all comes down to the final two midnights, the final two films in the Harry Potter film series.

Nerds, such as I, will notice that the trailer relies heavy on the second part of the deathly hallows book, sort of as a year long(2011) tease.

Spoilers start here.

You can see many original (2001) characters coming back onto the screen with Harry during the first 20 seconds of the film, i.e. Griphook, Bellatrix, who’s actual nature is coughHermionecough. We also see Hagrid and the flying motorcycle, but poor Hagrid seems to be knocked out.

Now the shot with Hermione holding a wand has been digitally altered to give this trailer an all ages appeal due to its bloody nature.

I am excited to see these movies, I have grown up watching these movies. It started off as a friendly enchanted feeling as I was a kid, and now that i am a young adult the movies tone has switched 180 and turned itself into an intense action packed motion picture.

I just got my hands on the all new Paranormal Activity 2 teaser trailer, and it looks scarier than the first one. This time around they have added two new, defenseless characters, a dog and a baby. I’ll let you see for your self.

Now if you go to the website paranormalmovie.com, and let the teaser finish, you’ll see some words written on the bedroom mirror.

Now wonder what that reads…

Lets flip the picture vertically. The message is “What is happening to Hunter”, I guess the little baby in the mirrors reflection is Hunter? Hey wait a minute, look at the crib folks! Where is the baby!? He is in the mirror but not in the crib! Pretty freaky stuff! And if you look closely at the bottom right next to the teddy bear, you’ll see what looks like a mans shadowy figure on the floor.

Let’s see what happens in the actual Paranormal Activity 2 trailer.

I’ll keep you posted.

(Update 1)- I’ve also just gained info that the creepy sound at the end of the teaser, when played backwards, says “Return. Hunter.”. Ill try and find a sound clip of that.

(Update 2)- Upon further detective work, I noticed the same staircase as in the first film, and also the same outdoor patio location as in the first one.

Look familiar? Makes me think that Katie is haunting a new family who has moved in to the house?

Stay tuned for more info.

I take back my last posts comment of “I will never beat this”, beacause, I seriously have beat it. This is the funniest post I will ever post. Dr. Apu has done it again, he has made a cool song even better. I do not want to ruin this post with words.

Here he is again doing his rendition of MJ’s hit song, Beat It.

What ever happened to the Plain White T’s? Thats a question I asked my self a couple nights ago. They havn’t been in the studio for some time but they do say that their new album is coming out within the year.

“Hey There Delilah” was the love song of, oh lets say, 8th grade. Am I right? Who could have written better chords and lyrics? Many people have been through a situation in a relationship similar to our hero of the song. That in my opinion is what makes this song so good.

Well I was not the only person so in love with this song. Below is a youtube video of a man performing the greatest rendition of “Hey There Delilah” I have ever seen. I think you will thoroughly enjoy it.

I seriously cant make this stuff up.

Yes you read that right, the most TWISTED racing game ever is back, and in full force. The new game, due out in 2011, titled solely as “Twisted Metal” introduces its newest form of vehicle in this installment, the helicopter. It has basically the same game mechanics as far as the set up, but whats new is the mode titled Nuke, where two teams fight to tear down the opposite teams metal structure.

The usual cast of characters is back with little to no major differences, just updated to fit the next gen consoles. The game looks promosing as the new trend of games is based upon racing, ie. blur, DiRT, and modnation. Below is the first teaser trailer revealed at this years E3.

Ah, there is nothing like waking up in the AM one summer day and walking out upon the beach, feet in the cool sand, looking at the sunrise, without  having a care in the world. My buddies, my palls, my compadres, The Morning Benders, have written this song “Excuses” just for that occasion.

When you listen to the slow melodic chimes, and soothing voice accompanied by the summers’ instrument of choice, the tambourine, you can almost envision your self around a sandy campfire, singing kumbaya, having a good ol’ time. This is my personal summer jam of choice, my creme de la creme of a song which offers one of the catchiest hymms a group of Berkeley kids had to offer, im talking about ” dum, duh dum, duh duum”.

The Morning Benders are a relatively new band(2008), but they have toured with the biggies, MGMT, Death Cab, and The Kooks, just to name a few. As of today though, you can find them touring with one of my favorite colabo bands, Broken Bells, I had the luck to see their tour kick off at Humphry’s by the Bay in San Diego. What an amazing show i might add.

For some, The AM Benders may be an acquired taste, but i hope I’m contributing to the soundtrack of Summer ’10.

UK company, Lazy Oaf, released their newest line of shirts this week. And let me tell you, it looks as if they were with Doc Brown and traveled back in time to the 80’s.

Lazy Oaf specializes in fine clothes and linens, but one cant help but notice their use of vivid colors throughout the merch.

They get the name Lazy Oaf on the basis that their graphics are just plain lazy; geometric shapes, words, and simplistic pictures. Go ahead you Lazy Oaf, click the dang picture.

If you would like to buy a relatively cheap priced Munny figure and enter the contest go ahead and go to the contest form.
